I have been offering professional English-Finnish and Finnish-English translations since 1990. I have worked with a wide variety of texts – from film subtitling, books and recorded lectures to technical manuals, brochures – you name it.

While I am a professional Translator and a qualified Editor and Proofreader in Finnish, I also have a background in technology. I studied in Helsinki University of Technology, majoring in nuclear physics, while also taking economics and languages, including all available translations courses. Later, after I started translating as a profession, I received additionally a very thorough three year translations training while living and working as a Translator in Los Angeles for five years. This training was aimed at perfecting my style and accuracy, so that I am able to render any text with 100% accuracy while at the same time maintaining the original style – a type of education that very few Translators have received.
